Welcome

The Diabetes Transplant Unit (DTU) is a cutting-edge research group that aims to find a means of reversing type-I diabetes (insulin-dependent diabetes), in humans.

The DTU is based in Randwick, Sydney at the Prince of Wales Hospital, which is a University of New South Wales teaching hospital.  It has a dedicated team of 20 scientists that have both academic and technical expertise.
